Baby is not sleeping

So the match maker came yesterday and left my friend with a cute little baby.

However, just as normal, the dad left. However the baby woke itself up and won't go to sleep! The light just came on on its own, so she had to go through and name it, and feed it and all that stuff.

Any answers here? This is something I couldn't find, even in the FAQ's!

well I dont know but check the time and the nameing is normal but after it should go to sleep hope it helped

The time was normal. everything was normal. We ended up pausing her.

Then to make it all ineresting when my friend woke up, she unpaused her. And then she took a nap, but it wasn't a long one by far. She's still awake, bouncing on the screen.

When your Tamagotchi's parent would usually wake up, the baby will. You can't force a Tamagotchi baby to go to sleep by setting the time, you need to wait until it takes its 5 minute nap about halfway through its stage.

Tamagotchi cannot die as babies and nothing will happen while it is on the name screen- it's like pause. So if this happens, leave your Tamagotchi on the name screen.
