Mine is a trans green camo backpack from last year. It doesnt have writing on it and it still works (although it haas been through A LOT) it still looks in great shape. Plus my backpack wont be very important (maybe it will) because I can put stiff in my locker.

Nothing, it's just a simple blue backpack with a dead-cow-skin (a.k.a. leather) bottom. I've used it every year since I was in 2nd grade, and I plan to keep using it. I don't need a new backpack each year. I don't see the point.
