battery going weird in my tamagotchi v3

every few days/hours my tamagotchi v3 has the X with a battery flashing symbol, at first i just thought it was the batteries losing juice, but then i put a new battery in it, and the same thing happened an hour later!! i havent debugged it or gone into the tamagotchi ever, so what could be the problem? is it wrecked for good?

My brother's V1 has the same problem. I've never been able to figure out why. I'm not sure that there's anything you can do about it.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. When that happened to my V4 I poked the Reset button w/ a pencil and selected Download.

Firstly: don't waste anymore batteries

Secondly: That happens with my v1, I'm afraid you'll have to get a new one if you still want a v3
