beeping

when i hold the v1 to my ear, i hear a small steady beep. same for the v2 and v3.

THE V4 DOESNT MAKE A SOFT BEEPING NOISE WHEN I PUT IT BY MY EAR. why did the older versions make the noise? What does the noise mean? Why doesnt the V4 do it? Is it bad/ broken?

MMMMMMMMM...........................Probrobly not broken.I have a V3 and I hear the same beeping noise when I hold it to my ear.Just ignore it and enjoy your tama.

Calm down, calm down. Its not broken! Thats the Tamas heartbeat.

But for some reason the v4s dont haave one because mine doesnt either or my sister's. ^_^

It's the Tamas "heart beat", as some believe, or as others, which I agree with both, it's the seconds of the clock. It's not broken, all taas do this, except v4, I haven't heard my V4's beep yet, other the the ocasional "I want some attention!!!" beep.
