Best trombone brands?

I am currently borrowing a Yamaha Trombone. It's not so good..... My MP won't fit, its a Faxx 12c.

I asked my BD, he said:

My dad doesn't want to buy a new mouthpiece.... Should I get a new MP or just stick w/ it? Its a large shank.

Does any body own the brands he doesn't think are good?
