Definately My Sister's Keeper. I loved that book. It was so well written, and so moving.

Maximum Ride series by James Patterson

The Golden Compass

Harry Potter (duh!)

I aslo loved The Babysitter's Club. I found that the ones that are narrated by the actual babysitters (Kristy, Claudia, Stacy, Mary-Anne, Dawn, Mallory, Jessi, Shannon, Logan) are quite good for young teenagers. But me being me I loved the babysitters little sister as well.
