ya it happens every time. buy the boombox again and not the cd. then you can use the boombox just like that and i wont explode. i hope this helped

Yes. Bandai told me about this. NEVER put a Music Disc in a Boom Box. Just a waste of GotchiPoints. I tried it and it exploded...
