Buying a Tamagotchi...

Yes, I'm planning on buying a tamagotchi, and was wondering what was the best one to get? I'm looking at places online like toywiz.com and kbtoys.com.

Anyone have any suggestions as to which one to buy?

Well, every place should have about the same price, which is $14.99 unless the tamagotchi is used or something, so if you ask me, it doesn't really matter. Hope I helped!

The toy stores you're looking at will all be carrying the V3, and maybe the V2 if they have some in stock that they didn't manage to move before the new version came out. No, there's no difference between any two V3 devices, except for the color and pattern of its "shell." So choose your favorite!

You can look on eBay for other Tamagotchi models, which are quite numerous, yes, and very different, but no major toy sellers will be carrying any of them, as they have been discontinued by the manufacturer (Bandai) and are now considered collector's items.

v3 is the only Tamagotchi being sold within USA/AUS/UK at this time.

Any version higher than a v3 you see being sold is a fake.

well v1,v2,v3 all have different features

i like v3 alot because it has more features( but has quite a few glitches)

but then there is japanese tamagotchis

uratama is my favorite so far.

if you are looking to buy one just go to *click here*

aand type in tamagotchis.

if you are looking to but us versions and such try wal-mart(i got a few there)

or mindmaster toys
