Changing families

Just recently my "universal" teen evolved into the kuchi family and not the universal family. Is this normal? Has it happened to you?

It's normal, but it's never happened to me. On the V4 growth chart, it says universal teens can turn into any adult group.

Here's my favorite V4 Growth Chart. I find it much easier to use than some others I've come across.
