Anyway yes the Xmas tree does appear on the V4.5 (i know because it came on MY V4.5) also there is much more accasions that your tamagotchi celebrates!

I think it appears after you haven't touched any buttons for a while on your Tamagotchi, if the date is a few days before Christmas.

From my experiences, the Christmas Tree only appears to adult characters. Changing the date will most likely not effect the tree coming. How old is your tama?
