Confused about the matchmaker!

I have a tamagotchi thats 8 years old. Yesturday I was walking around and I heard beeping and noises on my tomagotchi. I looked at t and there was fireworks then I seen a baby. Is this sopposed to happen? And if its not then could my tamagotchi still have babies after 7 years? And how many years until hes too old?

Yes it is supposed to be like that but it is ten when your tama is to old!

At that age your tama is too old for the matchmaker, but you can still breed your tama by connecting to someone else's tama who is also an old-timer.

To get an old person you have to keep saying no to the matchmaker. The matchmaker comes between the ages of 6-10. And when your tamas are 11 they will either turn into a grandma (girl) or a grandpa (boy), and if you connect a grandpa and a grandma together only a few times they will get married!!!
