Connecting v1 to v2

Hi

Why will my tamagotchis v1 and v2 only give mean presents to each other like poo or scary ghosts? They only gave a cake and a flower once, I've connected them loads of times and they only give mean presents to each other! This doesn't happen when i connect two v2's!

I've had this problem get thier training full then the'll do it less also get them to become adult tama too that will help!
