connecting v3 and v4

my freind has a v3 and i want to connect with her

does the conexion:

always work?

Yes.. It should.. You click connect and then go to "others" on both tamagotchis..

What you have to do to connect a v4 and a v3 is this:

1. Get both tamagotchis

2. Go to the heart button

3. Go to others on both tamagotchis

4. Press B twice on both tamagotchis

5. You are connected!

Note: If you are connecting a v3 and a v4 you cannot pick that they are playing a game or giving presents.
