everyone always says they connect with there phone, remote, mirror, garage door opener, price scanner, mouse, and other infra-red things... is this true? it never works for me!

It isn't true. Sometimes when you try to connect and it fails and it looks like you're connectiong to something else but you are not. It is not true.

You can connect with cell phones if you have the Japanese Tamagotchi Keitai. You can connect to japanese cell phones within japan. It is cool.

It only works for Japanese Tamagotchi Keitai's. I don't know what happens, I don't have one. Ask Roar_The_Tiger he has one.
