Contrast?

Hi..um well i have a tama-go and music star they each have a contrast thingy but they dont mention it on the tama-go on the music star instructions they do so i filled up the contrast bar and well i wanna know what it does to the tamagotchi? does it effect anything? to see it you press buttons b & c together Thank You

It doesn't affect the gameplay of the Tamagotchi. Contrast refers to the contrast of the screen, or the relative difference between light and dark areas of the screen. After you press B and C simultaneously to get to the contrast screen, have you tried adjusting the contrast by pressing A to adjust it down or B to adjust it up? You'll notice differences in the way the screen looks in certain lighting. Contrast is there so that you can adjust it in a certain way so that you can see what's on the screen better.
