How can you tell when your tama has died?

I've been trying to figure out if that's what's happened to mine...

it's gunna look like a non colored ball with non colored wings and you won't be able to press any buttons.

You can tell if he died by hearing some weird freaky noise that might remind you of death. Then if you check him and your tama is fallen over and it is smudging itself on the ground with a sick sign over him, then it beeps and you see an angel, then it's dead. If that did happen, sorry you can get another one by pressing A and C, but you will have to start from first gen. again :furawatchi:
