every tama has its own sleep times. your tama just is going to sleep when its supposed to.

Usually the younger ones wake at 9 AM and sleep at 8 PM or 9 PM. Some of the adults wake at 8 AM and sleep at 9 PM. Other adults wake at 9 AM and sleep at 10 PM. As was mentioned before, their sleep pattern depends on which character (species) they are.

You didn't mention which version Tamagotchi you have. If you have a V3, you can use spudilike's V3 Character Chart (includes wake/sleep times, base weight, food like/hate, ...). We're still working on discovering the wake/sleep times for the V4, so there's no chart for the V4 yet.

So you can sleep at night. Otherwise you would need to pause them so they don't starve or die of some illness they developed while you where asleep.

mine is an adult ponitchi. it goes to sleep at 9:00pm and wakes up at 8:00am.
