I was wondering when you go to the website and the items you get for your apartment do they even work or are they there for decoration? I got a chocolate maker right now and I wonder if it really works or is it like a sticker in my apartment

They do not do anything, they are just items for your appartment.
Some items (such as instruments or toys) can be transferred to your Tamagotchi toy.

No, it doesn't work. They are for decoration, but for some items, they are animated. They have a little animation, like the perfume, jewelry,
And as Gotchi Guy46 said, the instruments and toys and some of the items are able to be sent into your tamagotchi, so that your tamagotchi can play with it. And you can send it as many times as you want, those items aern't a ONE-USE items, but the destiny stars are. But it doesn't matter, after you use it on your music star, you can send it into your tamagotchi again from music city.
