It happens when your adult gets a little older. Then the Matchmaker comes and offers a lover. Press "Yes" but if you refuse, she comes a few more times.

Also it can happen if you connect a lot with another Tamagotchi. They must be one boy and one girl. When they are adult, and if you connected enough, it will have 4 hearts in the friend book. Connect some more and they will get babies. :furawatchi:
