does bad mail effect evolution?

I've been getting crappy mail. Snakes and poop. It makes my pet very unhappy. Does that affect its evolution?

It doesn't affect evolution, but snakes and poop make you Tama's happy hearts all disappear.

Gotchigirl's correct. And if left unattended (zero happy hearts), it may cause your tama to lose hungry hearts or get sick faster. And bad care can make tamas evolve into a universal character.

Well, "ugly" is more opinion based. But if you mean "ugly" as in Universal, then you are correct.
