Does lowering the contrast on v5 save batterie

I want to save batterie when i put my tamagotchi to sleep,and i heard if when you put it to sleep you make the contrast level go all the way down,it saves alot of batterie is this true?

Yes! It is true! When they go to sleep, it uses a lot of pixels, so by reducing the contrast, it will save battery.

I would imagine so, because you are reducing the amount of power used to make the animations. Or atleast that's what I think you're doing.
