It doesn't really matter because people have been doing it for at least 2 years on Tamatalk.

No. I don't like topics that have descriptions. If you have something to say, you can say it in a title. If topics have dumb titles, that is the authors fault for being unable to think up good things to say. People who fill in the description without realizing they can leave it blank annoy me.
