Entering codes.

Well, the manual says hit the A button, and then again 3 times until the shopkeeper appears suprised. Did that, tried entering a code, but it contains the C button and for some reason the shopkeeper just goes back to being happy.

Is it something I pressed, or am I just not being fast enough?

Make sure that you don't press any buttons after she became surprised and make sure that you only push the different buttons 8 times, like: ABAACCAB (Note: That was just a random combination).

its easier to do with the sound on (listen for the moment. there will be a sound like when you press B )

(ive never really thought of the gender of the shopkeeper 0_0)
