Evil demon tamagotchi soft lock please help

There’s a monster on my screen I can’t get rid of him I tried reset my tamagotchi but he won’t leave he looks like the aliens from stampys lovely world sort of. When I reset I got onto the normal screen for a second until he came back. This was after I lost the tamagotchi for a month. I was expecting a dead tamagotchi but what I got was my tamagotchi Jacob’s rotting corpse here to forever remind me of what I have done. Please help

Oh! That's simply a dead battery screen!
You need to replace the battery/batteries in your toy. Although kinda crude looking due to the low resolution pixels, it is actually a picture of a battery with an "X" through it.

What kind of Tamagotchi toy is that? I'll see if I can dig up any instruction manuals for it.
