FAIL!?

This morning when I Tried to connect with my sisters v4 (debatchi) with my v4 (mametchi) Her connection said "connect" but when the tama's got in range it jumoed to "Fail"! What was going on!?

are the batteries old? the batteries in my purple v3 are so old that when i try to connect her to my silver v3, the screen just falters then does blank...

Shilo_Tama has a point...cozz when my brother's v5 and my v5.5 tried to connect,my brother's tamagotchi says failed but when i changed its battery it works..maybe you must buy a new battery!..that's it!

Or another reason is you both aren't pressing a button. Somebody presses A (makes you win) and somebody press B (makes you lose).
