I told my friend that i wanted to hang out with her and my other friend and she took it as being rude, has this ever happended to u i feel that I'm her backup friend. I do not want to be that I want to be a true friend!! I miss that!!

Can anyone help me, maybe this has happened to u before how did u deal with it, did everything come out alright???

Perhaps your friend is being possessive - she thinks that you are "hers", and therefore doesn't want you to have any other friends. She might be worried that you will go off with the other friend and not have time for her. I'm not sure what to do, perhaps explain to her that you want to be friends with both her and your other friend.

This is quite common among girls, everything turns out all right usually. If it doesn't, maybe you should have a chat with your school counsellor.
