Get The Parent To Leave The Baby Quick

I am really eager for the 2nd Gen. on my v4 and v4.5 and just earlier today they married each other and have two baby boys. I read a log where the person just sped up the time to 11:59 or something and watched the parent leave the baby. Can someone please explain how you do that because it's not working for me!

The parent stays for two nights. You have to wait through the first night but the next morning flip the clock to 11:59 pm and wait 1 minute. You'll get to watch the parent leave its baby. Then set the clock back to normal and you'll have the baby.
