glitch...?

I am on my second generation the first hatched was a girl 2nd a girl and 3d a boy they now grew up and the first hatched girl became a mousetchi and a boy is that a glitch what hapened? plus why is mouseetchi playing shoe pairs instead of his siter???

A Mousetchi can be any gender.
