I think its pretty cool, helps you see in the dark if your in a car or something, or need to find your tamagotchi in the dark.

I have a glowing V4. It's my first glowing tama. I haven't actually seen it glow yet, though. It's nifty a addition, albeit a bit superfluous.

I have 2 v4s, a Rising Sun and Glow-in-the-Dark. GITD Tamas are pretty sweet, especially when they glow.
