Not that I can remember.

I doubt my parents would have let me when I was a baby.

I haven't been in recent years.

Thank goodness.

Rachel - you had a skate blade across your face?

Ouch!

How did it happen?

YEA I WUZ @ DEATHS EDGE OR W/E U KALL IT I ALMOST GOT IN A ROLLOVER CAR CRASH ON MY DRIVEWAY! :) PM ME FOR MORE INFO!

Yes, several times. I'll name the scariest experiences that I can remember:

1. When I was either 6 or 7 years old, I was eating a lemon drop. I was living in an apartment then and I went out on the patio while I was eating it. Suddenly I started choking on it. I couldn't breathe. I ran inside and woke my dad up and he performed CPR on me by squeezing my stomach until it came out. If he wasn't there that night, I would have died.

2. When I was taking a walk with my dad and his girlfriend several years ago, I fell off a hill and almost fell into a VERY fast moving stream, more like a small river. It was moving very fast and if my dad hadn't have pulled me up, I would have fell in and probably died OR got lost, but most likely died because it was very deep water and it was moving VERY very fast.

3. When I was eating this candy called fun dip probably 2 or 3 yearsa , I accidentally breathed quite a few of it and was choking. I ran in the kitchen and my dad quickly got water for my to drink it down with but it didnt work. He then squeezed my stomach and I coughed until I could breathe again.

I havent exactly been on death's door, but I've been in potentially dangerous situations:

- when I was six I had melanoma (spelling?). I think it's like a skin cancer, im not sure. But The doctors got rid of it before it was anything like serious

- I fell off one of those water-skiier things when I was riding on it with my uncle going really, REALLY fast. I like flew off of it and hit the water upside-down. It felt like concrete and I seriously thought I was dead, because I was like flipping around underwater for a long time. And like moments before I was complaining about having to wear a life jacket, hahaha. I was too scared to get back on that boat so I swam back to the dock/ lakehouse thing.

- umm, I got really overheated on a fishing field trip thing and I was like stumbling to the water fountain when I passed out. There were no teachers around, either. Eventually this lady gave me a bottle of water and walked off, and I slept for about an hour. I dont know if that's exactly near-death, but teachers should really have more concern for their students.

A few times. Im not putting them down though.

I did:

Fall down two flights of stairs... twice

Fall off a microwave onto my head

Bakcwards off a tree house.

Kinda I think.

I was riding my bike down a hill and was going so fast I popped a wheely and fell back and bashed my head (No helmet) I had to spend 6 months in hospital learning to talk and stuff.

I thought i was when i nearly drowned. Both times. Yes nearly drowned twice. I think the first time i blacked out and the second i thought i had seen the end. It was

SCARY. I also thought i was in heaven when i woke up after rendering my self unconsious on a lamppost but it was only because the lighting was bright...

Serious fall or just land on your butt?

I fell down a single set of stairs 7 times in 3 days. They were pointy. I'm glad i fell back not foward. They were narrow and steep.

The stair cases at school are scary when you move between classes. You get pushed and everyday i see someone fall. I'm surprised that last time i fell i only got concusion... I fell from top to bottom because the stamped behind me pushed. I cant remember anything from that moment until i woke up in the emergency room. I also fell and sprained my ankle and knocked a teacher once but the teacher was hurt more than me. oops.

when i was about 6 or 7, i had a barley sugar, and i accidentally inhaled it. We were camping on my grandpas block and there was no water near by, so we had to walk to his friends house to get it down my throat. Eventually, with help from the water and my coughing, the lolly disolved.

I also had this thing thats kinda gross called faecal compaction when i was about nine. It's where you can't do number 2s properly and it's hard 2. The doctors never realised, and the specialist said that had it gone on 4 much longer i would have died.

Tripped on the first step, (From the top lol) and fell down. I hit my head really hard, on everything on my list, I think its why I am so screwed up in the head now xP.

But yes, serious fall.

Once when I was six or seven, and once when I was really young. It hurt... but worse has happened to people, so Im not one to complain (or I try not to anyway...)

I never had any serious injury (Broken bones, etc) just a minor concussion, I have a neighbor who does daycare and nursing ansd stuff, I didnt even need to go to the doctor, which was good, but I bled a decent amount from a cut on my leg.

Ooh. Owwies. I ahve a scar from when i fell. It is one of my worst memories.... I didnt break anything but my pinky finger but i bruised my tail bone.

Maybe. Kinda. I dunno.

I was electrecuted (sp?) when I was a baby and I got hit by a metal bat in the face in fifth grade. If the bat hit me on my head or where ever it could have been much worse but I don't think I would have died.

One time (when I was around 9 years old) I was in a wave pool at a hotel. The wave pool was attatched to the lazy river, so a lot of people would go through it. I went in without an inner tube because it seemed like it would be more fun. I wanted to swim up towards the front because that's where the best waves were. The waves had started and I was about halfway into the wave pool (where the lazy river was) when a bunch of people started to swarm in.

They were all in inner tubes (mostly the double ones) and started knocking into me. They eventually hit me under the water.

I didn't have any goggles on so I couldn't see where I was going, either. I didn't get a big enough breath before I went under, and every time I tried to go up for air there would be either someone's legs in the way that would kick me or an inner tube. I was lucky enough to get one last breath before I got hit back under the water again.

I didn't know which way to go, so I just started swimming. I was also running out of breath. Eventually I felt the ground of the pool and I jumped up for air.

Had I swam the wrong way, I might have drowned or something.. Though I have heard worse stories, so I'm pretty thankful :)
