My tamagotchi died but when I press a and c nothing happens and I'm sure im pressing the wright buttons help

Pushing A and C at the same time for about 3 seconds should work, if you want to use a pen or some pointy ebject (just nothing like a needle) in the back and choose reset, you then will have to set the time and date, if you leave the time on 0:00 AM it will never hatch.
