They're not going to call. No one working for AOL has the time to talk to someone's parents about an incident concerning an offensive word. Believe me...it's a one in a million possibility that AOL is going to contact your parents.

 
What should I say to my parents? I was thinking of saying that one of the emoticons said Bit** on them and I accidently clicked it.

Thanks Shcmorie and everybody else. I am still scared though. But if they don't call tomorrow then I know I am going to be out of the deep end. Actually, it would be kinda stupid to call for that when there are millions of other people doing that too! After all they can't crack down on every kid for swearing at ppl on the internet! lol!

I see someone feels a tad better :) Trust me they wouldn't call, and even if they did your parents would believe you if you told on your brother anyway. I mean it's not like your brother would lie to his own parents! You can get out of this one easy if you just think about it :)

 
They cannot suspend your account over just one swear word. If you were doing a lot of illegal activities or breaching the rules they set, then they have every right. But over one word, they can't do anything.

They really can't suspend your account for a stupid cuss word!

If you do something really bad(Like send a bad letter to a friend with all cuss words!),they will kick you off of AOL!

I really don't think anything is going to happen. The "internet police" or AOL is not going to come knocking on your door to take you and/or the computer away. I think they would be a lot more concerned if they detected if there was a worldwide virus, or child porn or something. But a swear word isn't going to get you locked up or in trouble.

Just explain to your mother what happened, if you have the convo recorded show her, and get your brother confronted with and punished.
