i don't know how to connect with other Tamas, will somebody plz tell me how to?

first, there has to be 2 tamagotchi's. got press A button to get to the heart icon (top right corner) select it with the B button, select either version (again with B button) and make shure the other tama has selected the same version. If you selected version 2, select either GAME or PRESENT (A button to move back and forth and B button to select). this will show you a standby screen. then push B button again to connect. there must be somethin wrong with my tamagotchi cuz it's not workin

you do have 2 tama's with the infrared sensors pointing toward each other, right?

i got it working i forgot to press b when it says stand by
