Please help. when tamagotchi characters evelove does there name change aswell because my charaters on my v5 there name changed when they evolved. is this normal?

what do u mean? the name u gave ur tamas or the type of family? if it was the type of family, then maybe your characters all evolved into the same family, if it was ur name ur tamas, then idk

When you evolve the type of tamagotchi you have changes so the name changes aswell

For example

v4:

Shirotsbutchi :::::>Mizutamatchi :::::>Itchigotchi ::::::>Memetchi

Yeh so the name changes

Yes, the names in the status bar is what character it is. When it evolves to child, it wouldn't say "Omututchi". That's a baby character. It would say "Mattaritchi" or "Sakuramotchi" most likely. It is the species, so it changes as they evolve into new species.
