how do you get the tamagotchi ages from 0 to 1

Keep playing, feeding and taking good care of it. Hopefully the next day, if it is still alive it will age. About a week and it will become full grown. If you abandon it and let it starve, it will die and you'll have to start over.

Every day is a year to a tamagotchi. So if your tamagotchi is 6 days old, it will say it's 6 years old on your tamagotchi.
