Help with faint noise

so recently I wanted to use the 2018 v2 replica tamagotchi, when I started it there was no noise, I tried cleaning the speaker and it still didn't work. Then I decided to listen really closely and I could hear all the noises it was making, but it was very faint. Anyone have any advice on how to fix it?

Are the batteries inserted properly and the contacts reaching them well?

yep, the contacts are all working properly and I even changed them in case they weren't working
