What Shadow Princess said is correct. Some people do pause their Tamas when they go to sleep (I don't, because I don't sleep as much as my tama, and I'm always up before them! :furawatchi: ), but, that does stunt their growth. If you leave it to sleep on its own, and to wake up, it still grows during the night. so, depending on when you started your Tama, it might be one year older when you wake up!
