I had some water-proof sunscreen stuck to the casework of my V3, and was able to remove it without damaging my Tamagotchi, by using rubbing alcohol.

Yeah, I guess you can as long as you don't rub to hard, or don't get it in any spot besides the buttons. Also make sure to not get it to wet..

Yes you can just dont press so hard it cracks and dont drop it while cleaning (maybe putting it on a table) because that happened to me.
