can anyone tell me what is GENERATION in the tamagotchi?????

The first generation in your tamagotchi takes place when you are taking care of your tama after it has just hatched out of an egg. You will make it to the 2nd generation and all of the following generations when your tama marries and has a kid. A new generation begins when the parent leaves and you take care of the baby. A generation,one complete life cycle.

one of the alternate phases that complete a life cycle having more than one phase: the gametophyte generation. Well thats the Diciotnary's imput. But it is pretty much the same. As your Tamagothci Gets older, it will soon either pass away or have a baby by the Match Maker or With another Tamagotchi.

Bandai made it very intersting. Just like you and your parents, you are the next generation of your family. It makes you feel important doesn't it? Going through Generations is good. You dont loose your points, items or friends. And your Tamagotchi keeps gonig on and on with a new tamagotchi. Your Tama's parent leaves for TamaWorld, then the baby takes on the screen and so forth.

your tama will increase generation if it marries with the opposite gender of gets married by the matchmaker. When the parent leaves, it is the next generation. It is just like family generations.
