Hmmm... maybe you should reset the console and start again and if it keeps doing it I advise you to return it to where you bought it if you can (and it's new) h34r:

It takes Tamas a lot longer than normal to evolve if you regularly put them on Pause.

Perhaps that's it?

Yep it does.I was reading a post and one of the members had there tamagotchi 2 years old for three days.He/she possibly paused it.And there is no need to bring the tamagotchi back to the store,because this happens to lots of people.

I don't know HOW to wake it up. One time, my friend's Tama. almost died because she forgot about it and it had poo all over the screen. It was sick, almost dead, and she couldn't wake it up! She ended up pushing the reset button, then downloading her Tama. from the last major event! SUCH a heartattack.
