My bff and I both LOVE horses. They're really beautiful. Although I wouldn't want to own one myself, because they're too much work and they smell.

I'mnot sure what kind of horses you guys are smelling but mine smelled WAY better than most dogs. Smells are part of keeping animals, but horse smell is really inoffensive compared to lots of other popular pets. And to keep the flies away you are supposed to spray themevery few days with fly repellant. I did it for my horses, and it really worked well. They were happier, too.
