How do you make Tamogotchi friends?

How do you connect and make friends with 'fellow' tamaagotchiers? What buttons do you press? Do you tamagotchi's have to be a certain age? Please help!

To make them friends..

Just connect and play games/give presents.

They can eventually love eachother.

To connect to another tamagotchi, select the "connect" icon - it's after the "game" icon. Then select what version of Tamagotchi your friend is using. Once you've done that, the screen will say "Standby". Align the infrared tops of your tamagotchis, and they will connect and you can play games with them or give gifts.

yeah but if you want them to have babies (breed) then they have to be a boy and a girl. (otherwaise that waould be gay)
