How do you take off a costume?

Today this morning, I just got the last password for the cornershop.I recieved a rare costume. So I put it on my tamagotchi. It turned into this wierd looking mimichi. That's not important though, my problem is thatI can't take off the costume. I tried to go to the item list and click on the costume again, but there was just a cancel beep. Please help. I don't want my tamagotchi to stay like this forever!!! ^_^ ^_^

Don't worry. The costume will come off when your Tamagotchi goes to sleep. If you want to take it off straight away, just set the time to your Tamagotchi's bed time and then set it back to the right time again. ^_^
