How fast do they grow up?

Mine is a toddler right now i just got it yesterday..how fast do they grow to different stages?

baby:1 hour

toddler:24 hours

teen:72 hours

ok another dumb question..lol i havent had one of these in years so im clueless... is their time like real time? or...? because i got mine last night and set the time it was like 7:00pm and then it seemed like 3 hours later it was a toddler...could that be? or..im confused..hehe sorry for all the newbie questions.
