Wait for about 24 hours, like if you had your tamagotchi baby around 5 P.M. the next day when it's 5 PM, set the time to 11:59 PM, and watch your sad tamagotchi Adult leave back to their planet.

It takes exactly 24 hours if you don't pause the time. If you want the parent to go right away, set the time to your tamagotchi's bedtime. When your tamagotchi wakes up, it will only have the baby, not the mother or father .

24 hours but I have read on other websites that it could take up to two days. But I say 24 hours.
