how long many generations until..

how many generations can the tamagotchi have before the battery runs out? because i am on my 6 generation on one of my tamagotchis and i have had it for about 3 months..can anybody answer my question?

Hmmm........maybe 20?I dunno...

I'm not sure about 20, but the most I've ever gotten to was 12. It was hard because to conserve the battery, I turned the sound off most of the time (except when I was playing some of the games that are hard to play without sound like jump). With the sound on, you can probably get to somewhere around 9.
