Your Tamagotchi will automatically have the toy next to it's bed when it goes to bed at it's regular time each night that it is young. He can also play with the toy as many times during the day as he wants. Girls love the stuffed lion, boys love the action figure. I hope this answers your question!

A little tip that I discovered last week: If you let your tama play with the Lion Doll/Action Figure it will go to sleep with it but if they evolve during the day, you'll have to let it play with it again to sleep with it. Maybe a little unneccesary to know but.
