how to fix a broken v1

hey, is there anyone out there who knows how to fix a broken v1? Everytime I try to put a battery in it, nothing happens! And on my other one, half the screen is there, and half the screen isn't!

Have you ever tried debugging your tamagotchi? Debugging broke mine. Also, maybe the battery is worn out. Try buying a new one and see what happens. If that dosen't work, send it back to bandai and they might help you with your problem (no promises, though).

It could either be a glitch or a technical problem. And yes, like Jakuro said, debugging can break your Tamagotchi ): Try resetting a few times. Or maybe you put the battery the wrong way? Check :]

one the one where there is only half of the screen, i don't think that it's fixable, because that usually means that the pixels have gone out. When the pixels go out, you see nothing

dude, the P1 is the first wave of Tamagotchi's, so at the least more than 10 years.
