Smart:

When it is 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm, or 6:00 pm, your Familitchi will beep.

You will be given three choices. Select with C button.

Smart Family:

90% or 100%

Choose,( when your Tama beeps ) the first bonding item ( blocks, darts, etc.)

marry 2 smart characters

Cheerful

same as top except: marry 2 cheerfuls and choose second bonding item

Easygoing

same as top and marry 2 easygoing characters, choose third bonding item

That is pretty close. to get a pure family you need 100% bonding, and then you need to marry to certain characters from each family. they are as follows

Your Mametchi + matchmaker's Chantotchi = Mame Family

Your Memetchi + matchmaker's Mumutchi = Meme Family

Your Flowertchi + matchmaker's Sukatchi = Flower Family

Your Kuchipatchi + matchmaker's Yonepatchi = Kuchipa Family

and if you just connecting with somebody elses its-

Your Mametchi + their Chantotchi = Mame Family

Your Memetchi + their Mumutchi = Meme Family

Your Flowertchi + their Sukatchi = Flower Family

Your Kuchipatchi + their Yonepatchi = Kuchipa Family

or other way around. i hope this helps!!!

P.S.- when you have a pure family the eggs will hatch then immedialty turn into adults after an hour. its weird, but thats how it works.

Violet Family

You must marry a violetchi from you own family, (not the dating show) and make sure your bonding level is 80-100%. marry her to a sukatchi. for a picture of a violetchi or a sukatchi, go to google images and type in "furawatchi sukatchi tamagotchi characters". oh, and you Pure fam will have a house pet, like a cat or and elephant. they will also transform from a baby to an adult after the first hour after hatching, but don't ask me why.♥

Kuchi Family

marry a kuchipatchi from your own family with 80-100% bonding level to a yonepatchi. type in these tama names in google images like before, or see a v5 familitchi growth chart. all criteria ( information) also qualifies for all of these families, like pets and typing in their picture.)

Meme Family

Marry a memetchi from your own family with a bonding of 80-100%.

Mame Family

marry a mametchi to a chantotchi with 80-100% bonding level

Characters in each family:

violet family: violetchi, kizatchi, papakizatchi, mamavioletchi

kuchi family: kuchipatchi chibipatchi, papapatchi, mamapatchi

meme family: memetchi, imotchi, memepapatchi, mememamatchi

mame: mametchi, chamametchi, papamametchi, mamametchi
