How to set time?

I just restarted my tamagotchi and I am aware of setting the time by going through the setting and clicking time. But the issue is I can’t change it to AM or PM. All the other options to change the date or to change the hour and minutes. But I am unable to set AM or PM. I have a purple Gen 5. You can imagine how frustrating this is since my tamagotchi is awake when I’m asleep and sleeping when I’m awake.

Im not sure if this is relevant but I watched a You-tube video about a tutorial on how to set the time on a pink gen 5 and the option was there for AM or PM. However, when I watched a tutorial on setting time on a purple Gen 5 ( the same color I have and model) the option for AM or PM wasn’t there.

I think it may be set to a 24 hour clock.
If changing the time, does it go to 13:00, 14:00 etc when changing the hour?

Ohh. This is not a glitch. It's fine!! First you have to open up the clock, not the one in the settings, the normal clock (press the B button), and then, it should be A.M. and P.M.
